Safety and Care
Read before using ClipDesk. The same warnings are printed on the card in the box.
Safe use
- Clamp tightly. Check that the clamp is tight and the board does not move before every use, and check again if the desk shifts.
- Load limit: 30 lb (13.6 kg). Do not place more than 30 lb on ClipDesk.
- Do not sit, stand, or lean on ClipDesk, and do not use it as a step or handle.
- Solid desks only. Do not use on cracked, loose, wobbly, or damaged desks. Not every desk will fit, so check that your desk edge fits inside the clamp opening before use.
- Pinch hazard. Keep fingers clear of the clamp jaws while tightening or loosening.
- Not a toy. Small parts. Keep away from young children. The marker cap is a choking hazard.
- Inspect the clamp now and then. Stop using ClipDesk if the clamp is bent or cracked or will not hold tight, or if the board is cracked or warped.
Care
- Water-resistant, not waterproof. Sealed edges and a wipe-clean surface handle splashes and spills. Wipe spills up promptly and never soak or submerge the board.
- Markers. Use dry-erase markers only and wipe with a dry cloth. Do not leave marker on the board for long periods.
- Desk surfaces. The clamp can mark or scratch desks. Tighten evenly and do not slide the clamp while it is tight.
